The bridge over Tilford yard is public property.
I have been there many times and had no problems in the past. I was a longtime railfan from Atlanta. I now live in Charlotte.

hi i live near the W&A i can give you a little info on some operations lately of course train activity has been slow cause of the economy. but still can get flurry of activity was in cartersville last sat for just over 2 hours and saw 9 train movements there are several scheduled train movements from morning till ely afternoon usually Q 580 will show up in c.ville mid morning.then Q 541 late morn. Q 675 will usually show up very late morn till early aft..also Q 581 is due into c.ville around noon. Q 141 and Q 142 when they operate show up noon till 1.30 pm..Q 237 is due ely afternoon if run..Q 540 is due around ely afternoon. Q 127 usually shows up late afternoon..then coal loads and emtys can run anytime . as well as mow trains .grain . phosphate. at anytime . one other note saw a W069 ballast train that sat had solar pannels on all cars . also what is austell like for railfanning they took the gazebo out saw a photo is it ok to watch trains there without being harassed by the law..
