Atlantic Coast Line

Formed in 1840 and merged in 1967 to form SCL. The ACL came to Atlanta form the south from Manchester over the former AB&C (Atlantic Birmingham and Coast). The ACL ran many passenger trains into and out of Atlanta. The freight yard was shared with NC&StL, Tilford yard.
