Abandoned Railroads

For all the rail traffic that once came through Atlanta, much more remains as a reminder of what has been lost. The city is dotted with rusted rails and rotting ties of various industrial spurs, abandoned as business shifted to trucks and industry moved out of the inner city. In other places a few buildings and tracks serve as a reminder of the great station of Atlanta that were lost to the wrecking ball. While of course this will not be as comprehensive as the AthensRails abandoned page I will add information and photos as I obtain them.
